Jillamy is seeking qualified candidates for a Logistic Coordinator position at our main office in Chalfont, PA. We are searching for an individual who is looking to become part of a hard working team in a relaxed atmosphere with one of the fastest growing office in the Mode network.

JOB SUMMARY: 
Manage customer accounts, ensuring that customers are receiving the best product at the lowest possible cost while maximizing margin and network efficiency. You’ll be responsible for all the day to day activities in the transportation cycle: dispatching carriers to align to our customers’ needs, customer reporting and invoicing. Supply chain degree not required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 
Prioritize the assignment of equipment to customers. 
Address and resolve single load problem resolution in a timely manner. 
Negotiate with vendors to obtain transportation services at the lowest cost. 
Create transportation solutions for customers. 
Determine most cost effective recovery plan for missed pick-ups and deliveries with Load Planners. 
Develop and execute timely resolutions to transit delays and client concerns. 
Develop strong professional relationships with vendors and assist them in all operational aspects. 
Ensure complete and accurate client order acceptance/entry into the Mode Transportation system via EDI, web tender, email, fax, phone, or other applicable form of communication. 
Notify clients to any and all issues with their loads and educate them on industry changes. 
Collaborate with Business Development to ensure accurate and complete on-boarding of new clients and lanes by setting up required notifications, reporting, accessorial agreements and invoicing. 
Ensure carrier performance and event compliance meets and/or beats Mode Transportation expectations. 
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. 
Determine if a client’s freight is acceptable for Intermodal movement. 
Determine which accessorial charges can be billed and effectively communicate charges to customers. 
Evaluate client accessorial assessments to minimize accessorial costs and maximize accessorial margin. 
Identify Accessorial charge patterns and develop and consult with Customers to reduce charges. 
Submit and approve rail billing to rail provider via EDI, website, phone, fax, email, or other applicable form of communication to ensure proper invoicing. 
Complete vendor accessorial charges within 24 hours of occurrence. 
Assist Collections Department and Sales on customer invoicing disputes. 
Provide timely escalation of issues to management. 
Complete or assist with miscellaneous projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with classes in supply chain management preferred. 
Strong computer skills; Proficiency with Windows operating system and software programs such as MS Excel, MS Word, email and internet browsers. 
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interface with customers and internal personnel. 
Strong organizational and analytical skills are required. 
Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
Organized, detail oriented problem solver.
Ability to deal with people in stressful situation.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
Manage your time well and be self-motivated.
Previous brokerage-related or transportation-related experience preferred.
